Formula De has long been a Rat favorite. In 2011, FAQ Rat ran two Formula De events at GenCon. The first was a large scale race played with MicroMachine IndyCars on a larger than poster size copy of the Indianapolis 500/F1 track. It was a huge success. The second event is known as The Spiel Format, a series of quick, timed races on multiple boards. The format was developed by Stephen Conway (aka Book Rat) and his friend and podcasting partner Dave Coleson. It was also wildly successful. The Spiel Format rules can be found here.
